1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes the types of information collected by "Bali Fortune" (the "App"), how that information is used, with whom it is shared, how long it is retained, and your rights. By using the App, you agree to this Policy.

2. Information We Collect

• Date of birth — Required for Pawukon calendar calculations. This is the foundation of the divination data.
• Your name — Used for personalized greetings in readings. A pseudonym is fine.
• Language preference — Saved to remember Japanese/English selection.
• Purchase history — Used to verify subscription state (via RevenueCat).
• Anonymous device identifier — Used for rate-limiting and abuse prevention. Contains no personally identifiable information.

The App does not collect: time of birth, place of birth, phone number, address, precise location, contacts, photos, or health data.

3. Use of Information

• Generating and displaying your Pawukon-based reading
• Monthly chapter and personal calendar features
• Otonan (210-day cycle) notifications, only with your permission
• Subscription management and purchase restoration
• Abuse prevention and service quality

4. Third-Party Services

The App transmits data to the following services:

• Third-party AI generation service — For generating Pawukon profile text. Data sent: birth date (year/month/day only), name, language, Pawukon calculation results. Operated with zero-retention so data is not stored long-term on the provider side.
• Upstash Redis — Only anonymous identifiers, for rate limiting.

We do not sell or share your information with third parties for advertising purposes.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Your date of birth and name are stored locally on your device (AsyncStorage). Uninstalling the App deletes them completely. You can also delete data anytime via Settings → "Clear reading data".

Data sent to the third-party AI generation service is used only during the generation request and is not retained long-term on the provider side (zero-retention configuration).

6. Your Rights

• View, modify, or delete your information
• Grant or revoke notification permissions
• Cancel subscriptions
• Uninstall the App to delete all data

7. Age Restriction

The App is intended for users aged 18 and over. Users under 18 should obtain parental consent before using.

8. Security

All data transmissions are encrypted with HTTPS. Sensitive credentials such as AI service API keys are stored only on the backend server and are never embedded in the mobile app.

Readings provided by this App are based on the Pawukon calendar and intended as a reflection of self-understanding only. They are not medical, legal, or financial advice. Please consult appropriate professionals for important decisions.

10. Changes to This Policy

This Policy may be updated without prior notice. Significant changes will be announced inside the App.
